TGR - Finland
With our export project to Finland, we are taking a big step forward for the environment: instead of shipping bottled wine from Chile, we transport it in bulk in flexitanks and package it at its destination in 1-liter Tetrapak cartons. This change allows us to reduce COâ‚‚ emissions by 0.84 kg per liter of wine. For a single shipment, that means 20 tons less emissions, a 40% reduction!

The GHG emissions reduction project analyzed in this report has been quantified in accordance with the NCh-ISO 14064:2019 standard.
The project is evaluated based on a calculation of 24,000 liters of product, corresponding to the load capacity of one Flexitank. The emissions intensity per liter of wine is then calculated as a functional unit for the intended user. The baseline activity data is quantified by projecting the values corresponding to the company's usual practices, which correspond to packaging at source (Curicó, Chile) in 750 cc glass bottles; and for the project scenario, the activity data is quantified according to the transport and packaging of 1 Flexitank of wine.
